Ty Lewis

My name is Ty Lewis, I recently graduated from the ASL/ English Interpreting Program at Western Oregon University. I am orginally from Vancouver, Washington and now currently work in the Portland Metropolitan Area. I have strong knowledge in DeafBlind, K-12, and Social Interpreting. 

 

I came across ASL (American Sign Language) on accident. I registered to take Spanish classes my junior year in high school and come first day of classes I find out I was put into an ASL class. I was fuming because Spanish was not available and I got stuck with ASL. HOWEVER I would soon fall in love with ASL and Deaf Culture.
